Robert Harshman is a commercial photographer specializing in architectural and location VR, panoramic's and stills. Product and object photography are also an important part of his business. Coming back to photography professionally after 20 years in the computer industry and early background in fine art photography, he decided to renew a passion long dormant but never lost. To build his skills in every aspect of digital photography and VR, he shot real estate and table top for five years. The skills learned and honed while shooting over 8,000 homes, and commercial business (35,000 VR's, panoramic's and 12,000 stills) have made him a skilled artisan of digital photography in all its forms.

| A truly unique place is the Gas Station Museum just south of Taos, New Mexico. It is a gold mine of gas station memorabilia. As gas prices rise around the world and the number of oil companies shrink, it's interesting to see some of its past. The gas pump in the center of the room was originally advertised as the "most beautiful gas pump in the world." Many of the items in these VR's are now valued as art. Enjoy the tour. |

As in most other forms of photography it makes sense to always have a camera at hand as you never know what you'll find around the proverbial corner. Both of the VR's done below were not planned shoots, but "found" rooms. While it's a bit unwieldy to travel with the gear needed to do interior VR well, it can have its rewards. |

Today, Robert Harshman's client list includes architects, builders, interior designers and many other professionals and companies that benefit from his skill in putting a person in their space. Any place that has some unique aspect represents an opportunity to showcase it in full screen VR. Adding quality full screen VR to a web site transforms it into a destination site
When time permits Robert continues to work on a variety of personal projects to try new techniques and approaches. One project started early on is "Great Rooms of Chicago." One example of this project is the wonderful Elk's Memorial. It's a wonderful place to visit, it seems to always be a best kept secret in Chicago. |
